In Sinaloa, authorities have issued a warning regarding the clothing used during Halloween celebrations. It has been pointed out that costumes that imitate the uniforms of the Mexican army or criminal groups may generate controversy and pose a security risk in such a sensitive social context in the region.
Recently, violent incidents have been recorded in Sinaloa that have claimed the lives of several people, prompting authorities to draw public attention to the use of inappropriate costumes during Halloween. In previous years, alarming situations have occurred where criminal acts were simulated with fake bodies, raising concern among the population and authorities.
The state Secretary of Public Security has urged people to avoid costumes that make an apology for crime, to prevent alarming situations and possible penalties from local authorities. It is recommended not to use costumes that include toy weapons, tactical gear, masks representing criminals or characters related to organized crime, as this can be misinterpreted and generate danger.
The apology of crime, which implies the glorification of a criminal act or its author, is considered illicit behavior. For this reason, Sinaloa authorities are calling for social responsibility to enjoy Halloween without promoting the culture of drug trafficking. It is emphasized that safety and peace must be prioritized during celebrations, avoiding elements that may be misinterpreted or generate dangerous situations.
